Harry Pearce/Pentagram London

Exploring the weave of typography though my work and life. From books to street posters, institutions and human rights. Taking in a one and a half mile long calligraphic wall, typography in trees, writing in blood, dust, bronze and fire.

Harry Pearce has been a Pentagram partner since 2006, having co-founded Lippa Pearce to become one of the UK’s most respected design agencies.
His work touches many disciplines, from spatial design and identity to print, packaging and posters.
Encompassing the public and private sectors, both local and global. His diverse clients include The Co-operative, Net a Porter, Royal Academy of Arts, the Science Museum, Saks Fifth Avenue, Pen International and the UN.
A member of the advisory board for Witness working with Peter Gabriel for the human rights charity for over 19 years. In 2009 Harper Collins published his first book, a collection of typographic nonsense, Conundrums.
He speaks across the globe, including AGIdeas in Australia, Design Indaba, South Africa, SemiPermanent, New Zealand and Design Yatra, India, as well as New York and Chicago, colleges, museums and the Typographic Circle in the UK.
He is a member of Alliance Graphique International and also the Royal Mail’s Stamp Advisory Committee.
