Introducing: TDC INTRO
The First Annual Competition and Showcase of Title Design
Some of the most exciting creative work today is being done in title design for film, television, online, and live gatherings. Still, there has never been a good forum to showcase this exciting work. Now, the Type Directors Club is moving to fill the void with an open call for entries for TDC INTRO—the first international competition which recognizes excellence in title design.
TDC INTRO 010, will be judged by a panel of distinguished professionals in January 2010. The winners will be celebrated at an annual event and screening in New York, presented online on the upcoming TDC INTRO website and published in the TDC annual, Typography 31.
The 010 show will be chaired by Jakob Trollbäck and judged by David Peters, Garson Yu, Jonathan Wells, and Kyle Cooper.
We hope that TDC INTRO will set a high bar for everyone who strives for excellence, and will serve as a source of inspiration for practitioners in this truly moving field.
