Scott Citron
Scott Citron is an award-winning graphic designer and publishing consultant based in New York City. A designer of fine books, logos, and websites, his clients include Adobe Systems, Random House, HarperCollins Publishers, Walker & Company, the InDesign and Creative Suite Conferences, InDesign Magazine, American Jewish University, and Black Dog & Leventhal Publishers. Scott is also an instructor of graphic design and has taught at the Parsons School of Design, New School University, New York University, Type Directors Club, and Fashion Institute of Technology.
Scott is a member of the Art Directors and Type Directors Clubs, and is a frequent speaker at major trade conferences and events. His company, Scott Citron Design, is a member of the Adobe Solutions Network. An Adobe Certified Instructor in InDesign, InCopy, Photoshop, and Illustrator, Scott's client list is a who's who of top firms. Among those he's trained are the New York Times, Simon & Schuster, Oppenheimer Funds, the United Nations, HarperCollins Publishers, Publicis-USA, the Village Voice, Time Magazine, Wieden + Kennedy, New England Journal of Medicine, Ogilvy & Mather, McGraw-Hill Education, BMG Music/Columbia House, the Guggenheim Museum, Advance Magazine Group (Condé Nast), JP Morgan Bank, and Time Warner Book Group. In addition, Scott is a founder and the current head of the New York InDesign Users' Group, the world's largest chapter of InDesign users with over 2500 members.
Scott is the author and designer of Professional Design Techniques with Adobe Creative Suite 3, (Adobe Press, 2008). He is married and lives in New York with two dogs.
