Spatial Festival 2025

Description

Identity for Spatial, an innovative music festival in Berlin that explores immersive and spatial sound technologies.

In line with the festival’s immersive nature, the proposal transforms the brand identity into 3D environments. Through the creation of a series of liminal spaces, the visual language acts as an augmented soundscape, where the viewer moves within the content.

Rather than existing as flat layouts, typographic elements are embedded within spatial compositions. Type shifts, recedes, and scales depending on the space, creating a consistent but flexible visual structure. Distortion functions as a controlled variable within the system, allowing adaptation across formats without breaking coherence.

The challenge was to ensure the visuals were neither too abstract nor too figurative, achieving the right sense of depth without excessive detail. When projecting the graphics, we explored different movements and camera angles; some unexpected outcomes were integrated into the final result.
