SUMMARY:TDC 2019 Holiday Party at Poster House
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a convivial typographic evening with wine\, hors d’oevres\, two poster exhibitions with a curator-guided tour\, and a silent auction. \nThere may even be a nerdy typographic game (we’re still working on the details). \nTwo dynamic exhibitions at Poster House will be open during the party and curator Angelina Lippert will lead a tour of the Ghana movie poster show\, Baptized by Beefcake\, during the party. Also on view are smart\, passionate protest posters from the 2017 Women's March in Boston. \nEntry fees and silent auction proceeds will benefit the TDC scholarship fund. Every year the TDC awards scholarships to seven outstanding students of typography. \nWe are excited to auction works by TDC Medalists: \n\nEd Benguiat\nDavid Berlow\nLouise Fili\nZuzana Licko (Emigré)\nFiona Ross\nPaula Scher\nErik Spiekermann\n\nAs well as a private gallery tour by Poster House \nLooking for a holiday event for your studio or office?
