Adapter Text Georgian

Description

Adapter Georgian is an adaptation of an existing multiscript text type family, designed with a strong focus on ergonomics, even rhythm, and readability. Notable features—such as accentuated details, generous spacing, open forms, and subtly squared counters—are meticulously crafted to ensure clarity at lower resolutions, providing a comfortable reading experience. It is a variable typeface with two axes—weight and slant—ranging from Extra Light to Black, providing a versatile typographic application.

With Georgian-specific proportions, the typeface includes extended ascenders and descenders, along with strategically placed ink traps, allowing it to integrate seamlessly with other scripts in the family. Designed for extended reading in both print and digital mediums, it effectively addresses contemporary challenges in Georgian typography.

Adapter Georgian supports lowercase Mkhedruli and capital Mtavruli forms, covering the full modern Georgian character set. Additionally, it accommodates other Kartvelian languages, including Laz, Mingrelian, and Svan.
