ADCC Awards Campaign Posters 2024
Description
To celebrate the 75th anniversary, we explored its extensive archives of over 20,500 award-winning projects, offering a glimpse into the evolution of design and advertising in Canada. Playful typographic compositions, where letters stack into “tight but not touching” illustrations, draw inspiration from the phototypesetting era—a pivotal period in Canadian modernist design. The Studio Pro typeface emerged as the ideal choice for this project, blending tradition and modernity with elegance. A restrained colour palette of white, black, grey, and gold grounds the campaign in a minimalist and refined aesthetic. Gold, overprinted on bold black typographic compositions, was a natural choice to celebrate excellence.
