Our partnership with the Art for Justice Fund exemplified our commitment to empowering communities through research, design, and the transformative power of art, as we helped the Fund reshape narratives and foster empathy within the criminal legal system, envisioning a future of shared safety and an end to mass incarceration through the work of its grantees. We helped the Fund tell complex and compelling stories of transformation within the criminal legal system and reshaped their existing narratives around criminal justice reform through the power of art.
We provided a fresh perspective on website design, integrating policy, data, and compelling storytelling to archive and give narrative form to the fund’s work. Our goal for the website was to create a platform that highlights A4J’s groundbreaking work, connects to ongoing efforts by grantee partners, and offers educational resources on mass incarceration.
