Deem Symposium Branding, Designing for Dignity
Description
The Deem Symposium, “Designing for Dignity: A Convening of Possibilities 002,” hosted in partnership with the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) Chicago, was the return of an ambitious event designed to explore how design can drive large-scale social impact. Anchored by the five themes of Deem Journal—Dignity, Pedagogy, Equity, Place, and Climate—the symposium united designers, practitioners, and community members in a space for collaboration and critical dialogue.
Central to the success of the symposium was a cohesive branding system that brought the concept of “possibilities” to life. This identity balanced a dynamic, forward-looking vision with the thoughtful inclusivity at the core of Deem Journal’s mission. The visual and verbal language unified all aspects of the event, from promotional materials to on-site activations, creating a seamless experience across platforms.
