Environnement Entends-tu ?
Description
For the 2024 edition of the Art Souterrain Festival , the identity anchors itself to the theme of the environment by playing on its most abstract purpose. The environment is understood here in reference to the ecosystems that cover the surface of the Earth, but also, in its more social dimension, as the immediate space in which we all live. On canvas, the words swell and merge to fill their environment, becoming masses of vibrant, dichotomous colors of appreciable breadth: as if this occupation of space had reached full saturation. The signage that was developed helps visitors find their way around the festival's vast underground art gallery, which unfolds across several spaces in Montreal's underground city.
