Herby, a holographic typeface
Description
This typeface is a new, holographic experience. While being a small family of 15 aesthetically unique OpenType fonts for headlines, it also comes with a holographic dimension, two web apps, OpenType variable font, pliable OpenType play font and drawable OpenType trajectory font. With 20 axis and two dedicated web apps, this typeface establishes an environment in which typography and calligraphy converge into a holographic writing experience – holographic in the sense of total writing. While the Holographer (typeface’s holographic engine) defines the fundamental spatial parameters of the letter, the web app applies optical corrections, ensuring perceptual uniformity by compensating for minimal gaps through controlled enlargement. The result is a collection of visually distinct styles, playing between classical and contemporary.
