Spatial Festival 2025
Description
Spatial is an innovative Berlin-based music festival focused on immersive and spatial sound. As part of the identity developed, we created a series of animated posters and other assets based on the exploration of liminal spaces.
The pieces function as windows into constructed 3D environments, where typography and graphic elements are projected within depth and perspective. Rather than adding animation to static layouts, movement was embedded into the structure of the compositions.
Through spatial exploration, distortion meshes were adjusted according to each format and application. The key element was experimentation with motion and camera angles, which generated unexpected visual outcomes. Some of these results were integrated into the final system, while others remained part of the exploratory process.
The approach treats motion not as an added layer but a core behavior of the system, with the information appearing progressively through movement, reflecting the embodied and immersive nature of spatial sound.
