The oracle of Röntgenplatz
Description
The animated poster was created as part of Design Weeks 2024 (Poster Safari).
The flickering colour effects, dynamic shapes and word fragments are reminiscent of the vapours and mystical apparitions of ancient oracles, which were considered a source of wisdom and predictions in the past. An oracle that only proclaims good news.
We were also interested in the connection between design and location: as the exact location of the poster had already been determined as part of the ‘poster safari’, we integrated this into the creative process. The poster takes up the X-ray theme (Röntgenplatz = place of X-ray) formally and transforms it into colourful poetry, and the poster was brought to life by scanning a QR code. The colours and shapes begin to unfold in movement.
