CONCEPT:

This project is a personal collection based on Atwood's ?The Handmaid's Tale? in whose story the author combines ?nightmares? of human history. This collection shows both news and book excerpts of events what might have influenced her aside the story. The composition of the several sources with elements like shadows and overlaps reproduce the aesthetics of an online research with several browser windows open.

The book was developed as a master?s thesis at the Muthesius University of Fine Arts and Design Kiel, Germany, supervised by Prof. Annette le Fort and Prof. André Heers.
