CONCEPT:

The Bustani typeface emulates calligraphic Naskh style. Words are set on a slight incline in a manner similar to a calligrapher's hand. In addition, the internal intelligence of Bustani automatically selects the appropriate letterforms in their context according to Naskh calligraphic rules. Users can also select alternative forms from a rich set of letter shapes. Bustani also handles the precise placement of vowel marks and other small annotations in even the most fully vocalized text, making the typeface suitable for all compositions – from everyday text to complex scholarly manuscripts – and in every language written in the Arabic script.
