CONCEPT:

This year?s annual Great Performers issue honored 24 artists across film, television, and social media whose performances brought us comfort, entertained us, and gave us a sense of connection during this tumultuous year. Utilizing a design inspired by the chaotic and at times claustrophobic experience of living in quarantine, the issue is composed of a series of profiles and essays which includes photography by Djeneba Aduayom, Nydia Blas, Mamadi Doumbouya, Gareth McConnell, and Malike Sidibe. The issue also features a photo portfolio shot by Christopher Anderson over Zoom.
