CONCEPT:
Collectively, community is a story—one we write together. In this issue of the Mohawk Maker Quarterly, we explore these ideas with stories in three volumes: Place, Voice, Time. Each volume’s design direction expresses a different point of view, hinted at by the unique textured edges of each book. To develop content, we reached out to the community to assemble a diverse collection of voices from across the spectrum of art, design, and architecture. The overall goal was to connect readers with the communities around them—or, better yet, make their own.
