The Type Directors Club invites everyone to its sixtieth annual typography exhibit, TDC60, and the selections from the annual typeface design competition, TDC 2014. The exhibition runs July 17 through August 7, 2014. Open Monday through Thursday 10am to 5pm The exhibition is sponsored by Cooper Union.

Scripts do not exist in a void, they are always a part of their surrounding, society and history. Multilingual typefaces are inspired by several writing systems, creating a delicate game of balance between the Latin and the non-Latin. Felipe Taborda is a graphic designer from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. A graduate of Rio’s Catholic University, he studied cinema and photography at the London International Film School (England), Communication Arts at the New York Institute of Technology and Graphic Design at the School of Visual Arts (USA).
